Tell us about your career.
I completed my Law Degree in 2011, embedded within my Degree was the CILEX course which enabled me to join CILEX as a Graduate Member (now MCILEX). I worked for several years as a Legal Secretary, in a variety of practice areas (family, conveyancing, litigation, private client) before finding my calling in private client work. I worked closely with the Head of Department and achieved fee earner status in my previous firm and began training towards full CILEX membership. Before I could complete my CILEX training I took a career break to raise my family. I returned from maternity leave and, despite already being MCILEX, I decided to pursue the Solicitor qualification.
