Tell us about your career.
I’ve done all sorts! I worked in Insurance Broker sales at Legal & General for 10 years before a complete career change led me to open a Yoga Studio in Cardiff. I also managed a small Web Design Studio for several years before joining the B&B team in 2025.

Where did you grow up and what are your earliest memories?
I grew up in rural Pembrokeshire. My earliest memories involve wandering the Preseli mountains and going to Sunday School. I won a competition reciting the Ten Commandments in Welsh.
What was your first job?
My first job was when I was about nine, working in the local caravan park shop selling sweets to holidaymakers. I was paid a pound an hour and I still remember how exciting it was to get that little brown envelope with the pound coins in at the end of the day. After that I a good gig stapling raffle tickets for the local printers. I used to do it in my bedroom. I was working from home before working from home was a thing! .
Name something you love doing and why.
I love hanging out on the sofa with my miniature dachshund, Peanut. I also love cooking and crocheting. If I’ve met you more than once, I’ll probably crochet you a hat. I love reading and dancing but they’re tricky to do at the same time.
What do you dislike most?
I don’t like rudeness, judgmental people and intolerance. I also absolutely despise liquorice.
What country would you most like to visit and why?
I’ve always wanted to go to Vietnam. I’ve also never been to the West Coast of Ireland, so I’d love to do a road trip there.
What are your personal ambitions?
To be happy and healthy and to contribute more to the world than I take from it. I’d also like to be fluent in Italian and learn how to make a decent meringue.
