Payment Options
We understand that your property matter is one of the most significant financial transactions you will make in your life; therefore, instructing a solicitor with low associated risks is important. Bookers & Bolton takes pride in being a law firm that you can trust, offering value for money, no hidden costs and an AAA-rated insurance policy.
We are flexible with our fee arrangements and are always willing to discuss an option that suits you.
Pay As You Go
With this arrangement, you pay on an hourly basis for our lawyers. The estimate we provide you will be based on what an average matter type typically costs. The benefits of paying for our services this way include:
- If you or the other party pulls out before completion, you only pay for the work carried out up until that point.
- The work carried out is totally transparent. We record all of the time spent on your matter on our electronic case management system, allowing you to take a look at any time.
- You can spread the cost as the transaction pans out. We bill clients once per month, only for the work done up until that point.
- If your matter is simple and straightforward, you may end up paying less than what you were quoted in your estimate.
- The only upfront cost is your property searches.
Fixed Fee
With this arrangement, you pay one initial fixed fee based on the fee estimate we provide you, payable in the early stages of your transaction. The benefits of paying for our services this way include:
- You will know exactly what your transaction will cost from the start.
- You can pay upfront for the service and get the bills out of the way.
Our residential conveyancing solicitors can support you with your property matter, either online, via phone and video call, or face to face, where clients from our local community in Alton, Hampshire, can visit our offices.
In all cases, we will update you on your conveyancing transaction using our accessible and reliable app and portal, or through a way of your choosing.
