With the reduction in Stamp Duty we have seen a welcome increase in instructions over the past months. Responding to that whilst working from home has been a challenge that our team have met head on.

Practice Manager, Paula Langley, said, “Having the right technology already in place ensured that our move to working from home went as smoothly as it could be. Our Perfect Portal app and online log in for conveyancing clients means they can follow their matter step by step, always knowing where they are and what is to come. This takes a lot of the stress away from clients who have always told us that regular updates are key to their happiness. Having a cloud based case management system such as Leap, which means we can securely access our files from any wifi enabled device, has made the transition to home office as simple as unplugging and plugging in our PCs.

We have always strived to use technology to help our clients stay connected and to make us more efficient, saving them time and money. During this pandemic, we understand just how important it has been to stay ahead of the curve in our approach to creating a paperless office.

We also have to give credit to our office based team, Receptionist, Fran Light and Secretary, Teresa Moss, who make sure that our systems work with incoming and outgoing post scanned and printed and sent. The legal profession has not caught up with the kind of systems we use and so our paperless system is only as paperless as other firms make it!
