National Conveyancing Week: How We Communicate in Conveyancing

This week (11–15 March 2024) is National Conveyancing Week (NCW) in the UK, when the industry gets together and undertakes a series of events to raise the profile of conveyancing in the country.

Conveyancers play a key role in property sales and purchases. However, it is a role that is frequently misunderstood and underappreciated.

By improving the public’s perception of the conveyancing sector, organisers hope to inform and educate, helping to recruit new entrants to the sector and keeping fees at an acceptable level.

Bookers & Bolton is proud to support the event and this week we have been publishing a series of blogs to celebrate conveyancing!

In our latest blog, experienced conveyancer Dawn Booker looks at some of the ways our conveyancers at Bookers & Bolton help communicate with clients during the home-moving process to make it as smooth as possible.

Buying or selling a property is a stressful time with lots of paperwork to sort out and ID requirements to satisfy at the outset.

Here at Bookers & Bolton we tailor our services to you.

  1. Our app.

If you are comfortable with IT, or aren’t local, we have an app which you can download and use to complete all your forms, onboarding and identification documents.

It is all done in one place and can be done quickly and speedily so we can commence legal work in a timely fashion, saving you time, hassle, and stress.

Our app is available from the Apple Store and on Google Play.

  1. Human contact.

We love to see our clients in our new office and always give everyone a warm welcome – pets included!  You can come in to drop off your forms, raise any questions, and bring your ID. We are always happy to help. Our lovely receptionist Kate Healey is on hand to offer you any guidance (and a cup of tea!).

Our office address is 88 Normandy Street, in Alton, Hampshire GU34 1DH.

  1. Emails.

We are more than happy to communicate via email. However, if there are any original hard copy documents we need, we may ask you to go to a local post office or solicitors to get them certified or alternatively use our handy app.

  1. Letters.

If you prefer for us to communicate by post, you can let us know and we will write to you.

  1. Telephone.

We are more than happy to speak to you on the telephone.

At Bookers & Bolton, we really are here to make the process as stress free as we can and ensure that the property you are purchasing is the right one for you.

For more information about how we can help make the conveyancing process as stress free as possible, get in touch with us (by whichever means you prefer…).
