Supporting St Michael’s Hospice This May
During May 2026, Bookers & Bolton are taking part in a Wills Month campaign in support of St Michael’s Hospice.
For the whole of May 2026, we are offering a limited number of standard single and mirror Wills to new and existing clients. We waive our fee entirely. In return, clients make a donation directly to St Michael’s Hospice for the equivalent amount. We donate our time; you donate to a charity that makes a real difference to people across North Hampshire.
Appointments are available now, so there is no need to wait until May to get in touch.
Why We Are Supporting St Michael’s Hospice
St Michael’s Hospice is an independent charity that needs to raise £14,500 every single day to continue providing free care for people in North Hampshire with a life limiting illness, facing the end of life, or experiencing a bereavement.
50 per cent of the people who die in their care are under 65 years of age. That is one of the reasons the hospice now provides the Meerkats child bereavement services. The average in-patient stay is just eleven days. It may be that people go home; they have that choice, but it is a reminder of how quickly life can change and why having your affairs in order matters more than many of us realise.
This cause is close to our hearts at Bookers & Bolton. Many members of our team have lost loved ones, especially in recent years, some of whom needed hospice care in the areas where they lived. We honour some of those memories through the photographs used in our Life Planning brochure, because we want everything we do to feel human and relatable. We believe our own experiences give us the best possible motivation to support our clients through theirs.
We want to support this charity to ensure they have the funds they need to continue the vital care they offer when people need it most. We took part in their Alton Reindeer Run back in December, and there are many ways you can support this incredible charity beyond this campaign.

Is it complicated to make a Will?
We aim to make the process as simple as possible, leaving you free to concentrate on what you need to. We will ask questions to get a full picture of your situation and offer guidance as to how to reflect your wishes in your Will. We take into account not only your assets but the practicalities of your wishes.
Do I need to come into your office?
No, we can see you face-to-face in the office, or we can set up a remote meeting over Teams or visit you in your home or hospital. We are very approachable and are happy to speak to you initially over the telephone. We can arrange to visit you at home if you have impaired mobility and can provide you with booklets in Braille or recorded form.
